bACKGROUND
Artemis is an editorial piece focusing on NASA’s plan to land on Mars. The article discusses the timeline NASA has for this project as well as potential obstacles along the way. The article explores what we have learned from previous moon missions, and how that can help us get to mars

Challenge
The challenge of this project was to creating a cohesive article layout using a grid. The visuals need to express the vastness of space and the challenging journey ahead.

Color + Typography
With the uses of negative space I was able to emphasize the scale and weight of this massive project. The colors shift from more use of blue to orange as the article progresses to show the journey from Earth to Mars.
Editorial
This design combines high res photos of all planets taken by nasa. The color scheme represents the colors from all three planets involved in the mission, Earth, the Moon, and Mars. Design features like on page two also show the plan for the mission. The text on page two emphasizes the planets.
