bACKGROUND
Regen is a Nonprofit organization in Lancaster working to prevent climate change. They work with the unique balance of both the urban and rural communities of Lancaster county. Their goal is to create a plan for other communities to lower carbon emissions and reach carbon neutrality by 2020. I was able to meet their founder while working as a design intern at the Sweet Core. I worked with them to create a brand identity, as well as an informative video.

Challenge
The challenge of this project was to create a logo and brand identity that communicates the collaboration of both urban and rural communities of Lancaster County to reverse climate change. As well as create an animated video introducing the companies mission.

Color + Typography
I chose this typography because it is modern, clean, and simple in form. It is geometric enough to express structure and stability. Its rounder elements emphasize community and working together for change. The colors have a similar reasoning with the blues and teals representing stability and professionalism. The green emphasizes the companies environmental focus and feels modern and fresh. The purple signifies trust, reliability, and community.

Logo Mark
The logo is designed to communicate the unity of the two communities. The right being the fields of rural Lancaster, and the left being the skyline of urban Lancaster. Both elements are connected within a circular form to represent the collaboration. The color usage represents a flourishing environment possible with the efforts of all.
INformational Video
This video is an introduction to Regen’s Mission. It explains the companies goals in a visual and concise way. I created illustrations of different environments to showcase the effects of this mission. The style was meant to be congruent with the nature of the logo and the rest of the brand.
